A day of unmissable content and brilliant networking
We were lucky enough to attend the Media Production and Technology Show last week. It’s the UK’s largest event for the media and broadcast industries.
You may be wondering, what is a travel company doing there? Well, let me tell you…
We attended MPTS 2022 to catch up with some of our clients within the media industry, and see how they got on at the National Association of Broadcasters event (NAB). We managed the travel for clients flying to NAB in Las Vegas at the end of April.
echo.bravo manages corporate travel in all sorts of industries, from aviation, to tech, utilities, and finance.
As well as meeting up with clients, we made some great new connections. This is a brilliant industry to be a part of, and we felt incredibly welcomed.
The event
We arrived nice and early to a busy and buzzing atmosphere. The queue to get in wrapped around London Olympia, but everyone was in high spirits and feeling pumped to get inside.
The National Hall was decked out with all the latest technological innovations.
Louis Theroux was a real crowd pleaser, and hats off to Brompton Technology for an incredible display. Highlights for us include Louis Theroux talking about his career in documentary production. But to much disappointment, he didn’t perform the TikTok sensation: “My Money don’t Jiggle Jiggle, It Folds“.
As expected, everyone was eager to reconnect. Being such an interactive industry means demos have a vital part to play. It was wonderful to see demonstrations in full swing, very different to CEX where COVID restrictions meant no hands-on briefings and digital booths.
Congratulations to the organisers (Media Business Insight MBI Ltd), exhibitors and the thousands of visitors who all came together to make it a success.
