New to the crew: Charlotte Moss

11 July 2022  |  Travel Blogs

We’re extremely pleased to announce the hire of Charlotte Moss as our new Business Travel Manager.

Charlotte has over five years of experience in the travel industry. The year prior to covid she individually achieved top UK sales for her last company for their tailormade holiday range. In her first year, she was in the top 10 highest achievers for those within their first year in the company. This landed her a well-deserved seat on a plane to Hawaii for the weekend!

She’s highly experienced when it comes to tailoring travel to her customer’s needs, and she believes strongly in maintaining healthy and friendly relationships with her customers.

Based in Sussex, Charlotte has recently got into boxercise and spin!

She’s a big foodie. I love trying new dishes and finding new places to go. Whether that be for coffee, dinner or a cool bar for drinks.

Charlotte is also a bit of a festival goer and is very much looking forward to a festival in Cornwall this summer. As well as a road trip planned around Albania in September. It’s been on the list for a while, I want to go and explore before too many people discover the beauty.

Lucky for us, Charlotte has decided to switch to the wonderful world of corporate travel. Learn more about her background in the interview below.

Q1. Tell us more about your background in travel

Although I had previously travelled a fair amount myself, when I ended up working in the industry I didn’t know what to expect, it certainly wasn’t the job I expected to develop such a passion for and genuinely love. My role was really varied, booking flights all over the world, building extensive tailormade itineraries and finding solutions to all manor of different travel challenges. I made the decision last year to move away from the industry, knowing I’d always be back in some form, I couldn’t stay away any longer so here I am and I’m so excited to be back and get my teeth stuck into the world of corporate travel.

Q2. In three words, describe how you feel about swapping from leisure travel to corporate

Bring it on

Q3. What’s your weirdest travel booking story

I think we become accustomed to different, slightly odd requests. However, one that comes to mind were some customers doing a multi-stop holiday across Southeast Asia, they requested that I chose all hotels based on the thickness of the sun lounger cushions, a lot of pool photos were studied in this process.

Q4. Favorite city?

This is a tough one, Barcelona has been a favourite of mine for years, but Cape Town is also a very close contender.

We’re extremely pleased to announce the hire of Charlotte Moss as our new Business Travel Manager.

Q5. 4 guests at your dinner party?

You’ll come to learn that I am the worst when it comes to celebrity knowledge, so I’d say nice and simple, can’t go wrong with 4 of my best pals.

Q6. What are you doing when you’re not working?

Keeping myself busy and active, whether that be in the gym or getting out and about on nice walks, going to explore new places, spending time with friends and family.

📢 Charlotte officially joins us as our new Business Travel Manager today.

Let’s give her a very warm welcome, and connect with her on Linkedin here.
